Stroryline

Powered exoskeleton is called "Infinite Stratos" a Japanese scientist engineer, acombat high-tech weapon that is more advanced than any other weapon system.However, IS will never be used for military combat and that there IS technology should be distributed equitably to all nations, because the nations of the world impose"Alaska's Agreement ". However, the IS technology does not have a major impact to the community. Looks like IS can only be operated by women, causing a balance betweenman and woman is broken, premises women started coming to dominate over men.
Ten years later since the introduction of IS technology, the world has entered a new era,found a 15-year-old Japanese boy named Ichika Orimura, a man for the first time able tooperate the IS technology. Realizing the potential of the Japanese government was thenforced to mengadiri Infinite Ichika Stratos prestigious Academy, an internationalacademy diama IS pilots from around the world will be in training, Ichika the daily lifesurrounded by the girls began.
Character
chika Orimura (織斑 一夏 Orimura Ichika)

The protagonist of Infinite Stratos. He is a first year student at the IS academy. His older sister, Chifuyu, is a legendary IS pilot who raised him when the siblings' parents abandoned them at a young age. Despite how harshly she treats him, he loves his sister dearly. As the first male IS pilot, his new reputation has made him somewhat famous as many scientists and engineers would like to study him. He is oblivious to the fact that several girls have feelings for him. He pilots the Byakushiki  IS, a prototype and one of only two developed 4th generation IS and a short-range melee-class IS. He also possesses the Yukihira Type 2 , an upgraded version of the IS energy blade that once belonged to his sister and Core Number 001, the first IS core.

Houki Shinonono (篠ノ之 箒 Shinonono Hōki)

Voiced by: Yōko Hikasa

Houki is a first-year student at the IS Academy and Ichika's childhood friend, though they have not seen each other for six years. She has a very long ponytail. Her place of residence is home to a kendo dojo and she has been interested in kendo since she was young. Houki even competes in kendo competitions at a national level, and was the winner of the national tournament that was hosted one year before the story of Infinite Stratos began. She is part of the kendo club at the IS academy. Her older sister, Tabane Shinonono, is the creator of the IS, yet Houki hates her because six years ago, Ichika agreed to become her boyfriend if she could win the national kendo tournament of their grade. However, the day of the tournament was also the day the IS were introduced to the world. Because of their links to Tabane, Houki's family was placed under government protection and Houki was forced to withdraw from the kendo tournament. Since that incident, Houki has hated her sister for moving her away from the boy she loves and abandoning their family.

Cecilia Alcott (セシリア オルコット Seshiria Orukotto)

Cecilia is a first-year student at the IS academy and is the IS cadet representative from England, as part of the British Aristocracy. Her father was a spoiled and timid man who had little influence both inside and outside the Alcott family which made her swore to never marry a weak man (A difficulty due to the shift in social status). She was orphaned 3 years ago after a train accident and was forced to protect her family fortune from those who wished to claim a stake of it. She was almost defeated by Ichika for the position of class representative but won due to a technicality, but later cedes her position to Ichika. She soon starts to see him as a true man and falls in love with him. She pilots the Blue Tears  IS, a long-range sniper-class IS, which can deploy four remotely controlled "drones" (aka "Blue Tears", for which the IS is named) for engaging enemies at short and medium range. The Blue Tears IS is also equipped with the Starlight Mark III , a large laser rifle, and Interceptor , a short blade used for close-range combat.

Lingyin Huang (凰 鈴音 Fan Rinin)

Lingyin is a first year student at the IS academy, the class representative of her class and is the IS cadet representative from China. Like Houki, Lingyin has been friends with Ichika since they were little. She has been in love with Ichika since he protected her against four school bullies. Lingyin at first becomes extremely hostile to Ichika after he forgets the details of a promise proposed by her (which was if she became an excellent cook, he would be her boyfriend). She is also called "Ling"  as a pet name by others. Her family ran a Chinese restaurant that Ichika would often eat at before Rin's parents divorced and she moved back to China. She pilots the Shenlong IS, a short-to-medium-range melee-type IS with powerful "Impact Cannons" hidden in the shoulder armor. It is also armed with the Sōten Gagetsu , a pair of liuyedao that can be connected to form a naginata-like weapon.

Charlotte Dunois (シャルロット デュノア Sharurotto Dyunoa)

Charlotte is a first-year student at the IS Academy and is the IS cadet representative from France. Charlotte was originally introduced in the series as "Charles", the second "male" IS pilot student that was transferred into Ichika's class. Charlotte's true purpose, however, was at the academy was to spy on Ichika and discover how he is able to pilot an IS and acquire data from his IS (which at the time was considered the most advanced 3rd-generation unit). Because she enrolls as a male IS pilot, she and Ichika become roommates. As a result of this arrangement, Ichika later discovers her true gender. When Ichika learns Charlotte's father and his corporation used her to spy on him, Ichika decides to help protect her. She later falls in love with Ichika due to his bravery. She pilots the Rafale Revive Custom II IS, a 2nd-generation custom multi-range IS possessing a wide array of interchangeable weapons allowing for fast battlefield adaptation and capable of performing the Ignition Boost. Her weapons, once called upon, can be used by another IS pilot.

Laura Bodewig (ラウラ ボーデヴィッヒ Raura Bōdevihhi)

Laura is a first-year student at the IS academy and is the IS cadet representative from Germany. A genetically-engineered super-soldier, Laura is a member of the German IS special forces, Schwarzer Hase (シュヴァルツェア・ハーゼ Shuvarutsea Hāze, German for "Black Rabbit"), and holds the rank of second lieutenant. She has red eyes and long silver hair, her most distinct feature being a black eye patch covering her left eye. Her left eye glows yellow, the result of a failed nano-machine experiment that was meant to help her pilot an IS better. Laura was under Chifuyu's tutelage when the latter was in the German army, and holds Chifuyu in high regard as Chifuyu helped her and was her role model when she suffered a depression for not being the strongest. It should be noted that her current name is actually a code name given to her by the German military and her real name remains unknown.

Chifuyu Orimura (織斑 千冬 Orimura Chifuyu)

Chifuyu is Ichika's 24 year-old older sister, and is in charge of the latter's class at the IS Academy. She was the Japanese pilot for the first-generation IS machines and was said to be the strongest IS pilot at one point before retiring. During her retirement, she looked after her brother and raised him by herself after their parents abandoned them. She deeply cares for Ichika as she sees him as her only family. Chifuyu was also the one who enrolled Ichika to the IS Academy to keep him safe from other countries. Chifuyu once wielded Yukihira, a powerful IS energy blade that is now in Ichika's possession. Chifuyu was a close friend of Tabane Shinonono, the creator of the IS, which explains how their younger siblings became childhood friends.

Maya Yamada (山田 真耶 Yamada Maya)

Voiced by: Noriko Shitaya

Maya is the other instructor in charge of Ichika's class. She used to be an IS Japanese representative cadet.

Tabane Shinonono (篠ノ之 束 Shinonono Tabane)

Voiced by: Yukari Tamura

Tabane is Houki's older sister and the creator of the IS. She mysteriously disappeared after introducing the IS, and is currently the most wanted person in the world as many seek her for her knowledge about the IS. She is a close friend of Chifuyu, Ichika's older sister. Houki resents being related to her due to what happened to their family and Ichika 6 years ago and has hated her since. Despite her intelligence, she is rather eccentric and acts childishly, much to the chargin of those who know her. She has a thing for rabbits, hence the metal bunny ears on her head and the carrot pod she arrived in to give Houki her IS.

Dan Gotanda (五反田 弾 Gotanda Dan)

Voiced by: Makoto Yasumura

Dan is a close friend of Ichika's back from their days in middle school.

Ran Gotanda (五反田 蘭 Gotanda Ran)

Voiced by: Noriko Obato

Ran is Dan's younger sister and is currently attending a private girls' school. She is in her third year of middle school and is the student council president. Ran apparently has feelings for Ichika.

Clarissa Harfouch (クラリッサ・ハルフォーフ Kurarissa Harufōfu)

Voiced by: Kei Mizusawa

Laura's comrade and Commander of the Schwarzer Hase special forces. Like Laura, she, too, wears an eyepatch. Clarissa is also an Otakuand teaches Laura about Japanese culture through anime and manga, which is not very accurate. She is the pilot of the Schwarzer Zweig, German for "Black Branch") IS.

Natasha Fairs (ナターシャ・ファイルス Natāsha Fairusu)

A U.S. Representative Cadet. In the novels, she was the test pilot for the Silver Gospel , an IS co-built with Israel, before she loses control of it when it goes berserk. It is only when the intervention by Ichika and the rest of his comrades are they able to stop Silver Gospel. As gratitude for saving her life, Natasha kisses Ichika on the cheek as thanks, much to the anger of the girls. She does not appear in the anime, as the Sliver Gospel is an unmanned IS.

Tatenashi Sarashiki (更識 楯無 Sarashiki Tatenashi)

The Student Council President of the IS Academy. She is the most powerful IS pilot in the Academy, as the position of Student Council President is only given to the strongest IS Academy student.

Storyline
On an island that resembles the Irish Futuristic, which ruled the world "FrancetaleSystem" which guarantees kestabilitas and welfare of mankind. One day, Clain a main character who has a strong curiosity, one day Clain met a girl named Phryne run away,at night and left the pendant. Pendant that can turn into "dopple" named Nessa who was accidentally activated by Clain. Clain nenetapkan to travel with a girl-shaped avatarPhryne Nessa to search and find out the secret behind the system Fractale.


Character

Main characters

Clain Necran (クレイン・ネクラン Kurein Nekuran)

Voiced by: Yū Kobayashi

Clain is the main character. At the beginning of the series, he lives alone with "doppels"—holographic robots-which are representations of his parents. Although they act exactly as his real parents would, Clain is able to disperse them at will when he is tired of their talk. In terms of interests, Clain holds a strong curiosity in items created before the Fractale system was established. Throughout the series, he is shown to be emotionally simple; all he really wants is to live happily together with his friends Phryne and Nessa.

Phryne (フリュネ Furyune)

Voiced by: Minami Tsuda

Phryne is a priestess of the Fractale system and later revealed to be the incomplete key to resetting Fractale. She is very closed about her background, partially due to sexual abuse. Oftentimes, she makes Clain blush due to her little sense of embarrassment and lack of decency. At the beginning of the series, Phryne runs away to try to stop the Fractale cycle. She is reluctant to make friends because she believes it is necessary for her to sacrifice herself for the good of all.

Nessa (ネッサ)

Voiced by: Kana Hanazawa

Nessa is a "doppel" copy of Phryne's younger self, composed of "data" important to the Fractale system. Her existence is unique because, unlike other doppels, she can be touched, but only by people she chooses. Her character is very cheerful, energetic, and carefree. Clain meets Nessa for the first time when she suddenly appears out of Phryne's brooch. She smiles a lot and likes to explore, even occasionally dragging Clain into trouble. Her motto is often quoted to be that she "loves love." Like Clain, she expresses that she simply wants to be together with her friends.

Sunda Granitz (スンダ・グラニッツ Sunda Guranittsu)

Voiced by: Shintaro Asanuma

The leader of the Granitz faction of Lost Millennium that Clain first encounters with. He is harsh and rude to Clain at first, but gradually, he lightens up. During the final confrontation, Sunda helps Clain enter the Temple and search for Phyrne. While in the Temple, Sunda sacrifices himself to allow Clain to join Phyrne and Nessa while they journey to reach the Temple's inner sanctum.

Enri Granitz (エンリ・グラニッツ Enri Guranittsu)

Voiced by: Yuka Iguchi

Enri is Sunda's little sister. Although clumsy in many ways, she supports her brother in every way she can, and often helps command Lost Millennium troops. Enri is often accompanied by two sidekicks, Takamy  and Butcher , the latter being killed during a confrontation with Temple forces. At the conclusion of the series, Enri becomes the leader of the Granitz faction and helps teach those who were once dependent on Fractale to live independent lives.

Dias

Voiced by: Tomoaki Maeno

Dias is the leader of the Alabaster faction of Lost Millennium. While Dias seems friendly at first, his is actually extremely manipulative and cold hearted, such as tricking a group of Fractale refugees into removing their terminals and forcing them to join his faction, gunning down one refugee when he attempts to flee. Dias joins with Sunda to rescue Phryne and Clain from the Temple, but exploits the opportunity to destroy the facility instead. During the final confrontation between Lost Millennium and the Temple, Dias's troops sacrifice themselves to destroy the Temple. When Archpriestess Moeran offers Sunda, Clain, and himself safety so that they may witness the restart of Fractale, he uses the opportunity to get close to Moeran, killing both in a suicidal explosion.

Antagonists

Moeran

Voiced by: Sumi Shimamoto

Moeran is the Archpriestess of the Temple and a Phryne clone. Although she is the head of the temple, Moeran has a great hatred for Phryne because the younger clone is "beloved", giving Phryne a greater importance than Moeran. When Phryne confronts Moeran in order to stop the valance between the Temple and Lost Millennium, Moeran attempts to strangle the younger clone out of jealousy. In the conclusion of the series, offers Sunda, Clain, and Dias safety while they witness the restart of Fractale. However, Dias uses the opportunity to get close to Moeran, killing both in an explosion.

Barrot

Voiced by: Mitsuru Miyamoto

Barrot is a priest in charge of raising Phryne to become the "key" to restarting Fractale. Barrot is often overly affection towards Phryne, frequently groping her body when he is together with her and even insists on witnessing her gynecological exam to check that she has not been "spoiled". At the end of the series, Barrot reveals the full truth about Phryne and Nessa to Clain and that he had been using some of the clones for his own sexual pleasure. However, while proclaiming that Phryne is his alone, she stabs him with a knife and runs off.
